PRE-CONDITIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OFFSHORE WIND ENERGY IN AUSTRALIA

Are you passionate about environmental policy and offshore wind energy? Do you have a PhD in environmental policy and management or a related discipline? Do you want to join a world-class research centre and collaborate with industry, government, and academic partners?

If you answered yes to these questions, then you might be interested in applying for the Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the Centre for Policy Futures at the University of Queensland. This position will provide research and project management support to the project “Pre-conditions for the Development of Offshore Wind Energy in Australia”, as part of the Centre’s contribution to the Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre (Blue Economy CRC).

The Blue Economy CRC is a ten-year research and development program that brings together 44 partners from ten countries with expertise in aquaculture, marine renewable energy, maritime engineering, environmental assessments and policy and regulation. The Centre for Policy Futures leads the project’s work package that aims to identify best practices in policy and regulatory processes for offshore wind development that could apply to Australia.
