We would like to extend an invitation to Blue Economy CRC Hydrogen Discovery Day at BOC Australia in Lutana on Monday 2nd June at 1pm.

We will be showcasing innovation across the hydrogen supply chain.

The Blue Economy CRC and its partners recently launched the Hydrogen Production & Research Facility, Tasmania’s first green hydrogen production facility supporting research & training development for blue economy industries whilst providing commercial-scale hydrogen for industry & transport applications.  The facility features a highly innovative DC hydrogen microgrid, controlling one of Australia’s largest electrolysers, generating 100% renewable, green hydrogen.

The Hydrogen Discovery Day is a unique opportunity to explore developments across the full hydrogen value chain, from production and storage through to mobility, power generation and future applications in industry and research.

  • Green hydrogen production via renewable-powered electrolysis

  • Hydrogen mobility solutions, including Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) MIRAI fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV)
  • Hydrogen-powered generators for off-grid and remote use, including Optimal’s 65kW Capstone hydrogen microturbine and Toyota Australia assembled GEH2 Hydrogen Powered Generator.
