Viewing Platforms
This Forum is being delivered hybrid, and as such, the Forum organisers will provide clear guidelines on best-operating systems to use for optimum participation in the Forum for virtual attendees. Blue Economy CRC is not responsible or liable for failure to attend or participate in the Forum due to equipment or technical difficulties on the part of any virtual attendee.
Force Majeure
Blue Economy CRC shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the Forum where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the Forum despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
In this clause, Force Majeure means circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of Blue Economy CRC event organisers’ and which are reasonably likely to affect Blue Economy CRC event organisers’ successful delivery of the Workshop or would make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for a party to perform its obligations as originally contracted under this Agreement, including: fire, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, collapse of building structures, widespread disease or other public health emergency (including pandemic or epidemic), strike or other industrial action, the outbreak or declaration of war, act of terrorism, revolution or government orders or action (including the declaration of a State of Emergency).
If, as a result of Force Majeure, Blue Economy CRC cancel the Workshop, the Blue Economy CRC shall use reasonable commercial endeavours to reschedule the Workshop, but does not guarantee that the Workshop will be rescheduled.
COVID-19 Safe Event
The hybrid format enables limited in person participation (physical presence) as well as remote participation through an online platform. This event is being run according to the Tasmanian Government COVID Safe Event Guidelines at the time of the event.
If you are planning to attend in person you agree, as a condition of attendance, to do the following:
- comply with the COVID Safe Event Guidelines at the time of the event
- comply with any site-specific COVID entry requirements and attendance guidelines
- follow any requests or instructions from venue or the event organisers
- keep 1.5 metres away from other wherever possible
- avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses
- practice good hygiene
Attendees are requested to not attend if they have
- fever or symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)
- been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the last 7 days

COVID19 Travel Restrictions
In-person attendees unable to attend the conference/event due to COVID19 related travel restrictions, will be able to attend the conference as virtual attendees. Upon request, registrations will be transferred to a Virtual Attendee pass.

Views expressed by the speakers are their own. Blue Economy CRC does not endorse or adopt the views of speakers and cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the Workshop or in any material provided to delegates.
Code of Conduct
The Workshop will present opportunities to learn, share knowledge and network. We believe the Workshop should represent a safe, enjoyable and inclusive environment for all people, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion, disability, socio-economic background, experience, size, shape and so on. No one should be subject to any harassment, bullying or abuse. Any such behaviour will not be tolerated and we will take such action as we deem necessary to ensure it does not reoccur. This may include immediate removal from the virtual Workshop and a prohibition from attending future events held by Blue Economy CRC organisers.
