The Southern Ocean Carbon Company (SOCC) is a purpose driven company, aiming to scale rapidly in order to sequester carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to reduce the impacts of climate change. To achieve this SOCC will cultivate native seaweed on a commercial scale in marine leases around the coast of Tasmania.
