Data Infrastructure Stakeholder Needs Assessment Workshop

Friday 11th August, 2023
11am-2.30pm (AEST) / 9am-12.30pm (AWST)

The Data Infrastructure Design for the Blue Economy (DIDBE) project will bring together digital experts, data scientists, engagement specialists, project partners, stakeholders and end-users through a series of seven design workshops.

The ‘odd’ workshops (1, 3, 5 and 7) will include the core design team with a focus on the technical aspects of design and the ‘even’ workshops (2, 4, 6) will bring together the core design team with stakeholders and intended end-users of the data infrastructure.

One of the key deliverables for the project is the design concept map, a high-level, graphic of software architecture used in the development of the data infrastructure platform. The conceptual map along with a demonstration prototype will be used to demonstrate the design with details that can be understood by end users.

During the stakeholder workshops, the aim will be to gather as much feedback and information from industry, researchers and end-users to help inform and support the design of the concept map and demonstration prototype. By incorporating stakeholder feedback, the intent is a co-design approach to ensure long-term usability and relevance to users.

The collection of feedback will not be limited to workshops only, and additional meetings and targeted interviews will further add to the data-gathering exercise.

This first stakeholder workshop (Workshop 2 overall) will be held across two identical sessions in order to maximise attendance and ensure we gather as much feedback as possible.

The theme of both sessions will be a “stakeholder needs assessment” in relation to the conceptual map and use of data infrastructure.

Session 1 will be held on 11th August and Session 2 will be held on 18th August.

Feel free to attend one or both sessions (or drop in as available).
