Caroline is a Marine Environmental Consultant at BMT with a strong skill set and experience in the field. She holds a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology (BSc in Marine Science and Conservation Biology) and has spent over five years working on various marine and estuarine systems in metropolitan and remote Western Australian environments. Before joining BMT, Caroline worked as a consultant and researcher, focusing on marine ecology, habitat analysis, species assemblages, and geography. Her research took her to different locations around Australia as well as West Borneo, Indonesia, and Fiji.

Currently, Caroline serves as a Project Manager at BMT, leading significant projects related to ongoing key clients as well as being involved in renewable energy projects for major clients and partners as part of the Energy Transition and Emerging program at BMT. Her key clients include DevelopmentWA, JBS&G, Grange Resources, Southern Ports, and Water Corporation, covering a wide range of industries. Current projects include managing a long-term marina development environmental monitoring program (including an extensive field campaign) and overseeing the Burrup Peninsula Desalinated Water and Seawater Supplies Project. She has a comprehensive understanding of environmental impact assessment, compliance monitoring, and reporting. Additionally, she has contributed to the development and training of her peers by mentoring and contributing to an inclusive and collaborative workplace. Caroline’s expertise, gained through her academic qualifications and hands-on experience, makes her a valuable resource in the field of marine environmental consultancy. Her commitment to sustainable practices and her ability to effectively manage projects have established her as a trusted professional in the industry.
