Dr Ehsan Arzaghi

Lecturer in Maritime, Risk and Safety Engineering

University of Tasmania

I am a Lecturer at the Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania, with interest in the field of structural asset integrity and risk engineering. My research activities involve several projects on modelling structural, system and operational failures to develop reliability-based design and operation and maintenance (O&M) planning of engineering assets. I am also interested in developing quantitative risk assessment methods for infrastructure planning and decision-making for emerging engineering systems such as offshore renewable energy systems. I am involved in several BE CRC projects including Risk-based Methods for Safe and Sustainable ORES.
