I studied naval architecture in Iran and graduated with a master’s degree in 2013. In my master’s project, I developed a methodology for an optimal assessment of offshore structures under wave loads called Modified Endurance Wave Analysis, MEWA. Soon after graduation, I started working as a naval architect at a design office and was involved in various design and construction projects in conjunction with the Korean Register. In July 2018, I started my PhD at the Australian Maritime College, investigating the effects of air entrapment on wave slamming loads on fixed offshore structures.
