David Chen’s focus on sustainability is a result of his work in the power engineering segment focusing on energy transition and renewable energy applications. David is currently serving as the CTO of OceanPixel, combining consultancy, technology and conceptualizing their journey to digitisation of the Blue Economy.

Previously, David worked for the likes of Siemens, ABB and Hitachi and was involved in many international project development pursuits in various segments. David was also based in Tokyo, Japan looking at projects for the energy transition and the hydrogen development.

David holds an engineering degree from Loughborough University and also has several entrepreneurial developments.
