Rowan Paton is Principal Engineer at ACS Australia and responsible for internal research and development and intellectual property. He holds B.Eng. and M.Eng.Sci. degrees in Materials Engineering, and has forty years’ experience in engineering, mostly in design, manufacture and use of composite and polymer structures and materials. He has worked extensively in research and development, holds six patents, and has over 60 publications, mostly concerned with composite structures and materials.

Rowan has managed many successful research and development projects for commercial clients and was previously responsible for the Materials and Manufacturing Program of the long – running CRC for Advanced Composite Structures.
