Yvette holds a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Science from the University of Melbourne. After graduating in 1999 she began her career with Orica on their graduate engineers’ program. During this time, she worked in technical sales, process engineering for an ammonium nitrate plant and in process design. She also received training in various areas including the management of dangerous and hazardous goods and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and risk assessment facilitation.

Yvette has over 20 years’ experience as a process engineer, having worked for Orica and Norske Skog Boyer before joining pitt&sherry. Since joining pitt&sherry, Yvette has developed her design and project management skills. She then built on her hazard identification and risk assessment capabilities to include Safety in Design (SiD) facilitation. She now focusses on the facilitation of HAZOP, SiD and risk assessment workshops for a range of industries and sectors.
