STAFF PROFILE

Vanessa is the Communications Manager for the Blue Economy CRC.

Vanessa joined the team in the initial bid phase and has since managed the communications and marketing activities of the BE CRC. She has over 20 years’ marketing experience within the higher education sector, highlighted by 15 years at Griffith University as their Marketing and Partnerships Coordinator for Science, Engineering and IT Department. Previous roles include marketing positions within other CRCs, tourism and fitness industries as well as heading up her own Marketing Agency.

Vanessa holds a dual degree in Business and Exercise Science from Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She works closely with our Executive team, Board and 40 Partners to promote the research activities and outcomes of the BE CRC.
