2021 PARTICIPANT WORKSHOP

The Blue Economy CRC will be holding it’s Annual 2021 Participant Workshop on the 24th – 26th March, 2021 in Brisbane, Queensland.

This workshop is open to Blue Economy CRC participants and invitees only.

The event will run over three days and incorporate keynote sessions and interactive workshops between participants across the CRCs five research programs.

For our international partners who cannot attend in person and for any other participants unable to make the in-person workshop, both the event and workshops sessions will be available via a virtual platform.

There will also be site tours of neighbouring participant venues, Griffith University and UQ, as part of the three-day program.

It is important to note RSVPs are required for both the in-person and virtual event option.

AGENDA

Registration and lunch will commence from 12pm on Wednesday 24th March with the first session commencing at 1pm.

The event is scheduled to conclude at approximately 2pm on Friday 26th March following the on-site tours.

ACCOMMODATION

BE CRC on-site accommodation rate available at the conference venue, The W. Available for stays 22nd – 27th March 2021 inclusive.

Please note there is no cost to attend the event for Participants, however, transport to and from the event, accommodation and non-event meals are at the delegate’s own expense.

COVID-SAFE PLAN

As part of our COVID-safe plan, all attendees must download the QLD Government Check-in App.

This event is being run according to the Queensland Government COVID Safe Event Checklist.

If you are planning to attend in person you agree to the following conditions of attendance:

  • keep 1.5 metres away from other wherever possible
  • avoid physical greetings such as handshaking
  • practice good hygiene

Delegates are requested to not attend if they have

  • fever or symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)
  • return from overseas in the last 14 days
  • been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the last 14 days
